Chapter Thirteen

‘What is her name?’ asked Toyo-tama-hiko.

‘Candy,’ replied Hachiman.

By referring to the heap of recuperating submissive female at their feet it brought her back to the real world and out of her the realm of stark and succulent memories.

‘Such alluring curves. I would very much like to see how she performs in the water,’ said Toyo-tama-hiko.

Two men appeared immediately. Both had the ideogram of the Supreme Warlord tattooed on their chest and entwined sea dragons surrounded this image. Muscular of limb, they had waist length ponytails of dark hair and wore only a pair of form fitting leather shorts.

They briskly untied her and without further comment she was drawn out of the room and into the winding caverns and passages of the palace. Candy was glad that she was to be processed by lower grade priests. She needed a break from the rigid and utterly impeccable façade she was required to keep while within the presence of her master and his compeers.

When alone with Hachiman she felt a little more free to expose frailty and defect, but when her lapses might besmirch his image due to the presence of other Kami, she felt that she had to forsake her own pleasures and focus her entire self on composure and conduct. With mere Imbe, she could wail and curse, talk back and earn herself the discipline she so fervently craved and do so whenever the mood took her. The thought of being able to complain and berate her escort flashed through Candy and crafted a most torrid feeling. It was a sense of naughtiness, of nefariously committing herself to disobedience for no other reason than to earn chastisement. When basking in the aura of immortal Kami she had to live up to their expectations. Yomi was always there, waiting for her, and that meant she would never see the Warlord or Lady Uzume ever again. That in itself was one of the most frightening aspects of that dreadful place. However, her escorts were mere Imbe and probably lacked the authority to sentence the slave of an honoured guest to the underworld.

Candy decided that she was going to have some fun with them. She could resist without fear of dooming herself. She no longer had to bite her tongue, and was eager to indulge this power before it was again taken away from her. She was about to be sent out into the ocean and a last indulgence of her freedom before it was lost would be a delightful memory to take with her into the watery depths.

The room to which she was delivered was another private dock, one that clearly facilitated the delivery of newly created water concubine into their new environment.
